Q: Why build a Stefan Salvatore shrine?
A: Well why not?
This shrine was technically built to be a part of the LJS shrine competition, but I had toyed with the idea of building an LJS character shrine for over a year now. I've built series and character shrines as anime sites for several years now and wanted to try my hand here.
As to why I built a shrine on Stefan, I wrote a whole article on that which you can find here.
Q: Why Anguish?
A: It was the first word that came to me when I started to think about doing a Stefan shrine. It just fit, so I didn't feel the need to think much further on the topic. So much of his life was tragic for him and painted with his grieving, so I thought Anguish was an appropriate title for a site about his (fictional ^^) life!
Q: Where did you get your information for this site?
A: Most of it came from my observations of the novels alone. With any outside information, the sources have been noted on the credits page.
Q: Why are there quotes heading some of the pages, but not others?
A: Well, in some cases, there wasn't just *one* quote to fit the entire article (say character analysis). Also because I was using quotes to sort of tie the subject in to the novel. With an article like a biography, such a lead-in was unnecessary.
Q: Can I use any part of your site (information, writing, graphics...) for mine?
A: Absolutely not. I worked hard on every aspect of this site and would like it to remain unique. Your site will do better using your own work anyway.
Q: Can I link this site?
A: You sure can. I sure appreciate it. ^^
Q: Will you link my site?
A: I might. Right now I'm only linking other Vampire Diaries sites (with a few exceptions), so if you have a VD related site you can send the link over. If I'm impressed, I'm sure I'll add it to the list.
Q: Do you plan on adding to this site in the future?
A: I'd like to. It just depends on what kind of time I have and what kind of inspiration strikes me. I have tons of other projects so we'll just have to see.
Any other questions regarding this site can be emailed to me @ di@joylandpark.org.
